- Hand-wash your neoprene bag using cold water and a mild detergent.
- For stains, avoid spot-treating to prevent water rings. Instead, apply mild soap directly to the stain, submerge the entire bag in cold water, and gently work the soap and stain out to ensure no residue remains.
- Reshape the bag while wet and lay it flat to dry on a clean, non-porous surface. Keep it away from treated or dyed materials and direct sunlight.
- Handle hardware gently, as neoprene products are not machine washable to prevent hardware chipping.
- Creasing and pilling are normal for neoprene and can be easily addressed. Use a fabric steamer with downward strokes to remove creases and a fabric shaver in circular motions to remove pilling or fuzz balls.
- Avoid harsh solvents such as alcohol, acetone, and oil, which may damage the bag’s exterior.
